Miller Ferries, the most popular way to cruise to Put-in-Bay and Middle Bass Island. MBL has the only passenger and vehicle ferries to the Islands. Currently operated by Ohio State University’s Ohio Sea Grant, in partnership with the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) Division of Wildlife, the Aquatic Visitors Center served as the State Fish Hatchery at Put-in-Bay from 1907 through 1988. In its more than 80 years of operation, the hatchery raised a variety of fish species, including walleye, sauger, whitefish, herring, yellow perch, coho salmon, chinook salmon, and steelhead.

View the island’s oldest automobile, rare Model Ts, vintage snow mobiles and gasoline memorabilia. A rare FREE ATTRACTION to enjoy with the young and old. This antique car collection was lovingly gathered by Charles “Skip” Duggan. The Antique Car Museum is dedicated to Skip in his memory.

The Butterfly House at Put-in-Bay, a 4000 sq. ft. aviary housing over 500 different types of exotic butterflies from all over the world. Relax with soothing music as butterflies flit all around.Breath in the lovely scents of the butterfly bushes and other beautiful flowers. The kids will enjoy the secret walkways throughout the garden to get up close with the butterflies in their natural environment.

Discovered by workers in 1897 while digging a well for the winery 40 feet above, Crystal Cave is the world's largest geode. The walls of this cave are covered in strontium sulfate, a blueish mineral called celestite. These crystals range from 8 to 18 inches long.

Take on the challenge of Put-in-Bay’s only human maze race. Purchase a time card then mark your start time as you race to locate and mark special stops along the way. Continue racing to find the exit and mark your finish time. Try to beat your time with reduced repeat trips.

Purchase a bag of rough mix at The Shop at the Top, then let the water wash over the sand, and experience the fun of panning for REAL GEMSTONES & FOSSILS. Fun for ALL ages - young and old. Located just outside Perry’s Cave. You can spend anywhere from 10 minutes to 1 hour sifting.

The Heineman Winery was founded in 1888 by Gustav Heineman, an immigrant from Baden, Germany, the grape growing region of that country. The Lake Erie Islands were already noted for quality grapes as a result of ideal soil conditions and the long growing season because of the tempering effect of Lake Erie.

A lovingly restored Alan Herschel carousel created in 1917, located on Delaware Avenue, downtown. Take note of the hand painted historic island murals that adorn the carousel top. Tickets can be purchased inside the Carriage House.

The Lake Erie Islands are rich in local and American history. Our 6,000 square foot museum has displays depicting early life on the islands and many aspects of life at the turn of the 20th century.

Perry's Cave is a Natural limestone cave steeped in historical tradition. The cave lies 52 feet below the surface of South Bass Island in Lake Erie. The discovery of the cave, in 1813, is credited to Commodore Oliver Hazard Perry, hero of the battle of Lake Erie. The cave is 208 feet long by 165 feet wide.

Perry's Victory and International Peace Memorial was established to honor those who fought in the Battle of Lake Erie, during the War of 1812, and to celebrate the long-lasting peace between Britain, Canada and the U.S. The Memorial, a Doric column, rising 352 feet over Lake Erie is situated 5 miles from the longest undefended border in the world.

Perched atop the white cliffs of South Bass Island, this unique 33-acre park is a scenic landmark when viewed from the water, and in turn affords visitors great views and access to Lake Erie.  The wooded campground and serene lakeside picnic area offer a quiet retreat from the bustle of Put-In-Bay.  South Bass Island's companion park, Oak Point, offers facilities for boaters and picnickers close to the heart of town.

Nestled on several acres of woods and beautifully landscaped grounds, Stonehenge Estate represents the many grape growing farms and family wineries that prospered on the Lake Erie islands in the mid-late 1800’s. Open to the public for over twenty years, this on-going family preservation project is a “must see” that gives visitors a true taste of island living from yesterday and today.

Put in Bay Parasail was first started by a businessman from Cleveland in the late eighties. He saw people enjoying parasailing in Florida and thought people on the North Coast might enjoy it too. Since then we've flown thousands of happy customers over the beautiful waters of Lake Erie.

Saunders Golf Course is the only golf course on Put-in-Bay. It is a 9 hole par 3 course. The most interesting thing about Saunders Golf Course is that golf carts are not permitted, it is a walking course.

The Lime Kiln Bus provides transportation from the Miller Boat Line Lime Kiln Dock to The Bus & Tour Train Depot in downtown Put-in-Bay. Passengers can return to the Miller Boat Line ferry dock by boarding the Lime Kiln Bus at The Depot. Frequent trips meeting and catching every Miller Boat Line arrival and departure.

Get out of the downtown and see the rest of the island while learning fun island facts and history along the way. Board the Put-in-Bay Tour Train at The Depot, downtown Put-in-Bay. A one-hour narrated tour of the island is included. Public tours are available during the summer months. Group Tour Packages are available.

Conveniently located at both the downtown Jet Express dock and the Miller Boat Line Lime Kiln Dock (at the top of the hill). Their third location is Best Carts at The Bus & Tour Train Depot downtown. For rates and reservations call the number provided or click on the link to go to their website.

The Park Bike Rental has 2 convenient locations on Put-in-Bay, the main location is at the east end of DeRivera Park next to the PIB T-Shirt shop and a short walk from the Jet Express Dock , the 2nd Park Bike Rental location is on Delaware Ave .next to the Boathouse Bar and Grill. They offer golf cart and bike rentals to the many visitors of Put-in-Bay.

In the heart of our beautiful downtown area, the Village of Put-in-Bay’s A & C docks can accommodate both overnight and daily dockages for $1.60 per foot. In addition to the perfect location, boaters will have access to water, electricity, wireless high speed internet, and the Village’s large bathhouse.

Located in the very heart of downtown Put-in-Bay DeRivera Park's B Dock is the place to be at the bay. B Dock, like the other public docks in the central harbor, is a linear dock. The dock is equipped with a finger on the south west end, close to the shorline for our customers with smaller boats. Daily rates are $0.80 A foot, overnight $1.60 per foot.

Fox's Dock is located in Put-in-Bay’s downtown harbor on the Jet Express dock. Convenient transportation available on the dock via Island Bike & Cart Rental and frequent taxis with each ferry arrival. Reservations accepted by calling 419-285-4900 or Channel 79.  Overnight rates Mon. - Thurs $1.25 per ft, Fri. - Sun.: $1.50 per ft.   Free WiFi.

Miller Marina, located in the western area of Put-in-Bay's downtown harbor, provides day and overnight dockage. Just one block from downtown Put-in-Bay, you are within walking distance of restaurants, Perry's Monument, taverns, carry-outs, grocery store, and bike rentals. Rates: Overnight ~ $1.50 foot, check out at 11:00 am, weekdays ~ $1.00 foot, thru 7:00 pm.
