services can transport as many as 300 people per

You either have
to wait until the next day, or find someone else

Do I need my
car on the Island? |
|
|
You do not need a car on Put-in-Bay and Middle Bass Island,
there are plenty of cabs to take you anywhere you want to go. You can also rent, golf carts,
bikes and mopeds.

There a 2 night minimum stay for weekends and midweeks.

to Put-in-Bay? |
|

There are two ferryboat
operators that service the Island, the Jet Express

our car or our boat? |

Yes, you need proof of reservations to bring your car
to Put-in-Bay. Each house has room for 2 cars or a car and a boat. Back to Top |

Do I need a driver's
license to rent a golf cart? |
|
|
Yes. Golf Carts
are treated as licensed motor vehicles on the Island.
All traffic laws apply including open container
laws as well as drinking and driving. Delaware Carts
rents to licensed drivers over the age of 18. For
those under 18 but holding a valid license, a parent
or guardian may rent a golf cart for your use. Back

take reservations? |

on a first come first serve basis for boat dockage.

Is there a grocery
and a place to buy beer and wine? |

Yes. There is a
full service grocery on the Island on Catawba Avenue.
There is a drive thru with beer and wine located
next to the Boathouse Bar and Grill on Hartford

Can I bring alcohol
to my the house I am renting? |

Yes, but FYI...beer
and wine can be purchased at stores on the Island
with prices comparable with those on the mainland.
Also, there is no liquor store on the Island. Back

What time do
the bars close? |
|
|
While most bars close around 1:30, there are multiple
late night bars on the Island including the Skyway,
Mr Ed's, and the Brewery. Back

Can I walk from
bar to bar with a drink? |

No. As anywhere
in Ohio, we have an open container law. No alcoholic
beverages may leave a liquor permit establishment.

What is your cancellation policy?
|
|
|
Cancellations occurring more than 90 days before the arrival date will be charged $50, 46-90 days, $100.
Cancellations occurring 45 days or less before the arrival date will be charged $250 and
the remainder of the rent will be refunded ONLY if we are able to
re-rent the cottage for the entire length of the original booking to a qualified renter. Back to
